Barrister Gohar condemns donald Lu’s statement

Barrister Gohar said, “Whatever Donald Lu has said is a lie. There is a need to launch a probe again in this regard.”

Islamabad: Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), publicly criticized a statement made by Donald Lu on Thursday, labeling it as untrue.

Addressing the media outside Adiala Jail in Islamabad, Khan insisted that an investigation should be reopened regarding this matter.

He also urged former ambassador Asad Majeed to weigh in on Lu’s statement, expressing the party’s confidence in the judicial system.

Khan reiterated PTI founder’s prediction that the current government’s tenure would be limited to five months.

In a separate development, PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry voiced concerns in Lahore, accusing the ruling authorities of pushing the country toward financial collapse.

Chaudhry emphasized that those accountable for the nation’s economic and political turmoil would not be pardoned.

He criticized the selling off of the country’s institutions and assets under IMF conditions, highlighting PTI’s previous efforts to establish an independent foreign policy.

Chaudhry also pointed out Lu’s remarks about electoral irregularities, suggesting that they diminish the credibility of recent elections.
